London City Selection reveals member investment of over £1.9m. in technology in London Tech Week

The total sum covers investments in a variety of technology support including WiFi, AV and digital and production equipment across a number of venues including The Barbican, America Square, Whitechapel Gallery, Plaisterers’ Hall and LSO St Luke’s among many others.

City of London venue consortium London City Selection reveals a collective investment of £1,922,290 in technology by its member venues in the last 12 months. These investments have been made to enhance the experience of visitors and delegates and to keep up with an increasing demand for the highest quality of connectivity and technological support. The announcement comes as the inaugural London Tech Week begins, showcasing London as the digital capital of Europe.

The total sum covers investments in a variety of technology support including WiFi, AV and digital and production equipment across a number of venues including The Barbican, America Square, Whitechapel Gallery, Plaisterers’ Hall and LSO St Luke’s among many others.

London City Selection Chair Diane Waldron says: “The City is London’s business hub and for us in the Conference and Events industry it’s important to keep up to speed with new developments in the digital age. It’s vital that we stay ahead of the game in terms of connectivity and technology support for our clients and conference delegates.”
