London City Selection sails ahead with HMS President 1918 as 25th member

Ex Royal Navy War ship HMS President 1918 has this month become London City Selection’s 25th venue member.

The HMS President 1918 membership is the second new membership for London City Selection in 2013 following that of 230 Bishopsgate who also became members in early February, making the vessel the 25th venue to join the collective.

Ed Bolling, London City Selection chair, commented: “It is really exciting to see such growth for London City Selection in 2013 and we are delighted to announce such a unique London venue as HMS President 1918 as the 25th addition to the collective.”

Situated on the river Thames in between Waterloo Bridge and Blackfriars Bridge, the venue boasts spectacular views over the South Bank along with a number of different size function rooms available for corporate or private events. Emma Jordan-Seaman at the HMS President 1918 added: “We are delighted that we are the 25th member and the first floating venue to join LCS. Our events team are looking forward to working with London City Selection and are excited about getting involved in the forthcoming experiential weekend in May.”

HMS President 1918 is a luxurious and unusual events venue moored permanently on the bank of the river Thames with breath-taking views. She can hold over 200 guests in the spacious Ballroom and boasts two stunning outside decks. The London City Selection is a hand-picked selection of some of the finest venues in London and the only venue consortium to demand the MIA’s AIM Accreditation of all members.
