Gold Award for company’s contribution to the local and social development and two bronze awards for the international advertising campaign and gastronomy
Louis Cruises was awarded during the event for Greek Tourism Awards 2014, taking a total of three awards, one Gold and two Bronze in the categories that has respectively participated. In particular, the company was awarded with the ‘Gold Award‘ in the category of Contribution to Local and Social development, being the only cruise company based in Greece, offering significant support to local communities. And this comes from the fact that every day for six months, four of the ships company is reaching Greek ports, giving economic ‘ breath’ to local economies by carrying 454,318 passengers during 2013. Also Louis Cruises has received the ‘Bronze Award‘ for the integrated communication campaign promoting Greek destinations in 17 countries throughout the year, based on research results carried out in a systematic basis. ‘Bronze Award ‘ finally was awarded for its rich and mainly Greek culinary experience offered to its cruisers.
Tourism Awards has been organized by Boussias Communications and the magazine Hotel & Restaurant, under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and National Touristic Organisation, aiming to promote excellence and innovation in the field of Travel, Hospitality & Leisure. During the award ceremony, which was attended by more than 350 senior executives from the largest companies and tourism agencies in Greece, best practices has been rewarded by a competent jury of distinguished professors and travel experts, through legitimate procedures.
