Luxury and Little Ones, specialists in luxury child-friendly hotels and holidays, have partnered with War Child a small international charity that protects children from the brutal effects of war and its consequences. For every holiday that is booked through Luxury and Little Ones £1 will be donated to War Child for their vital work both in the UK and abroad.
War Child is on the ground in several areas of the globe which are tragically in the headlines for all the wrong reasons. It is often the children who are the forgotten victims of war. It is not just the war itself but the effect of war on their lives; leaving brutalised, damaged, marginalized children including former child soldiers, children living on the streets, children put in prison and girls at risk of rape or violence. But it is War Child’s approach not to victimise these children and pity them – but to educate, empower and assist them to write their own future.
Kathryn Wright, founder of Luxury and Little Ones is passionate about children and the quality of their lives and wanted to give something back to a charity which would directly affect the lives of children who find themselves in a situation no child should encounter. War Child was the perfect partnership.
