Luxury Escapes launches presence in the U.S.

Australian Company Brings Curated Luxury Vacation Packages to Wanderlust Americans.

SAN FRANCISCO – Luxury Escapes, the Australian travel brand that has transformed the luxury travel landscape by changing the way travelers book, save and experience luxury travel, is expanding its presence in the United States and Canada. A complimentary members-only platform, Luxury Escapes has 3.2 million members, and has built vacations for more than one million travelers to experience some of the world’s most sought-after destinations while staying in five-star luxury hotels and resorts at flash sale prices. But what sets Luxury Escapes apart is its curated bucket-list packages that create fully immersive and luxurious travel experiences.

Luxury Escapes provides limited time offers packed with elite inclusions tailored for each property and destination. From all-inclusive gourmet food and beverage options, relaxing spa treatments and invigorating outdoor activities (hiking, cycling, golf, etc.), each package typically includes VIP airport transfers to ensure the ultimate turn-key travel experience.

For the past six years Luxury Escapes has been providing luxury travel packages at incredible prices due to our industry relationships and unique model of negotiating directly with properties,” said Brice Gosnell, head of the Americas at LuxuryEscapes. “We are thrilled to launch our office in San Francisco to focus on the U.S. and Canadian markets. Every day we continue to expand our offerings to destinations that are highly sought after by travelers — whether it’s a once-in-a-lifetime honeymoon, a multi-generational travel experience or even an adults-only getaway.

Luxury Escapes provides a curated list of packages and pairs it with inspiring content— according to Luxury Escapes users, 95% weren’t planning on staying at a Luxury Escapes hotel until of the deal, and 63% of travelers booking on Luxury Escapes weren’t even planning on visiting the country they booked until they were inspired by a LuxuryEscapes offer.

The site’s most popular destinations are the Maldives, Thailand, Hawaii and Europe. Beach vacations, well-known luxury hotel brands and romantic trips receive the highest interest from Luxury Escapes members, and all-inclusive meals and airport transfers comprise the amenities most travelers are interested in.

With travelers increasingly choosing to spend less on material goods and more on experiences, travel industry brands are well-placed to deliver more local and customized experiences for travelers. In fact, Luxury Escapes has a global network of expert travelers who roam the world curating incredible luxe package experiences and vacations for their travelers, and is rapidly growing its portfolio of cultural activities, adrenaline thrills, food adventures and luxury add-ons to help travelers experience unique activities during their vacation.

In the past few years, we’ve seen a growing interest in Luxury Escapes from the U.S. and Canada, with sales more than doubling in the past 12 months,” said Luxury Escapes Chief Executive Officer Cameron Holland. “We have an incredible opportunity to bring more luxury packages to this market for even more travelers to experience once-in-a-lifetime vacations. By creating a smarter way for travelers to immerse themselves in their destinations, we’re recognizing that luxury is increasingly about personalization and convenience.”

Luxury Escapes is currently available in 22 different currencies with offices already established in Australia, Singapore, India and now in the U.S. The U.S. has seen exponential growth in the past year with membership over 100,000, and with the addition of new destinations and experience offers, the company is expecting to continue growing awareness and sales in the region. Luxury Escapes plans to continue international growth by having a larger presence in the U.K. and U.A.E., and by rolling out flights and cruises to the U.S. market in early 2020.
