Luxury travel wholesaler LCI-MTC Group partners with DHISCO

The partnership, LCI-MTC Group said, will enable it to increase hotel inventory while providing agencies fast, reliable access to both publicly available and specially negotiated hotel rates from DHISCO’s more than 110,000 global hotel partners.

DALLAS – LCI-MTC Group SA, a global luxury travel wholesaler, has selected DHISCO Inc., a leading hospitality distribution company, to help it meet the growing demand by travel agents for seamless access to the most up-to-date hotel rates, the companies announced yesterday.

LCI-MTC Group, based in Fribourg, Switzerland, with offices around the world, is a 24-year-old destination management company that works with 10,000 travel agencies to provide a full range of luxury travel packages and services through its LCI Travel Solutions brand.

The partnership, LCI-MTC Group said, will enable it to increase hotel inventory while providing agencies fast, reliable access to both publicly available and specially negotiated hotel rates from DHISCO’s more than 110,000 global hotel partners.

“By connecting through the DHISCO Switch, we will better be able to cover the fast-rising demand by our travel agent partners for the top hotel chains around the globe,” said LCI-MTC Group CEO Jean-Louis Gibon. “DHISCO will become our main distribution channel in 2017, which will enable us to grow sales by dramatically increasing our inventory.”

DHISCO CEO Toni Portmann said the partnership underscores the value of the company’s one-to-many DHISCO Switch. “One of the biggest challenges travel sellers have today is getting immediate access to hotel inventory and rates,” she said. “DHISCO Switch makes it easy for companies like LCI-MTC Group to provide the most up-to-date information through one simple connection.”
