MCE Central and Eastern Europe 2014 – A story of hand-shakes and smiles

The 10th and 11th of February saw nearly 200 participants engage in about 1500 pre-scheduled  and match-made one-to-one meetings, and this is not to speak of the unscheduled encounters during the many networking lunches, coffee- breaks Gala dinners and cocktail parties.

PRAGUE – As the curtains closed on Europe CongressMCE Central & Eastern Europe 2014, there were smiles and handshakes all around. The fourth edition of the exclusive B2B networking platform, which promotes Central and Eastern Europe as an exciting destination for events travel, may have drawn to a close on 11th February, 2014, but the endless business opportunities for the participants have just begun.

The 10th and 11th of February saw nearly 200 participants engage in about 1500 pre-scheduled  and match-made one-to-one meetings, and this is not to speak of the unscheduled encounters during the many networking lunches, coffee- breaks Gala dinners and cocktail parties.

The flawless arrangements made by the Europe Congress staff with the assistance of the event partner and host venue, Radisson Blu Hotel Bucharest, helped to create the perfect atmosphere.

On Monday evening, the representatives of Phoenicia Hotels and Resorts organized a programme to show–off the crown-jewel of their group- the Phoenicia Grand Hotel– to all the guests. The After-Party at the Athenee Palace Hilton Bucharest was a classy affair with cocktails and canapes and a DJ setting up the music for a fabulous vibe allowing participants to dance: All in order to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the property with pomp and vigour. The staff also showed the guests around the hotel and everyone seemed very impressed.

Managing Director of Europe Congress, Alain Pallas mentioned: “The event has proven to be a great success and the feedback has been very positive. The proceedings went very smoothly, yet the real success of an event of this calibre lies in success stories of business generated for the region of Central and Eastern Europe. MCE 2014 has already started down that path with signed deals being struck during the event and many more in the pipeline.

Europe Congress will announce the next event, the MCE Central and Eastern Europe 2015 soon.
