Meeting Point Hellas forward plans

The company is moving towards the implementation of MPI’s Group management matrix, whereas the CEO, COO and CFO are all working in line and reporting directly to the Board.

Meeting Point Hellas (MPH), a subsidiary of Meeting Point International (MPI), is about to close its first year of operation and reveal its future plans. MPH latest estimates reveal that the company will service around 350,000 guests in Greece in 2013 and aims to offer a very different product mix, going international and focusing on combining services of MPI in Italy, Turkey, Croatia etc while at the same time increasing its focus on cruising.

MPI Group and the Greek company K. Badouvas SA gained remarkable experience from their collaboration to-date and are now in the process of re-designing their cooperation and the linkages between in order to make the MPH organization more in line with rest MPI’s Group standards and functions. The new basis of this venture will be finalised within the next few days.
 
This will also result in a change of the MPH Board Structure; from now on the Board will consist of Mrs Roula Jouny and Mr Ioannis John Kent. Mrs Roula Jouny, CEO of MPI Group will keep the corporate role in the MPH Board and Ioannis John Kent will, with immediate effect take the active role of the Executive Director of the Board.

According to MPH’s plans the corporate head office will be based in Athens as of the new financial year [1st of November 2013]. The Heraklion office in Crete will remain MPH’s main strategic hub and will continue to offer all services throught the MPH offices in Rhodes, Corfu, Kos and Karpathos.
 
Meeting Point Hellas is operating in 17 destinations all over Greece including Crete, Corfu, Chalkidiki, Rhodes, Kos, Karpathos, Athens, Kalamata, Kefalonia, Samos, Thassos, Lesvos, Santorin, Mykonos, Parga, Naxos, Paros and Zakynthos.
