Mexia Communications celebrates 10 years with new brand and new clients

Mexia has added several new clients to its portfolio in the last year alone, including Lord’s Cricket Ground, Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau, Finnish event tech company Catchbox, event networking app Grip and London-based venue Victory Services Club.

Meetings and events specialist PR and content marketing agency Mexia Communications has unveiled a new brand identity and website to mark its ten-year anniversary in 2016.

The agency, based in Henley-on-Thames, has seen turnover double in the last three years, with a raft of new business wins and strong client retention. Mexia has added several new clients to its portfolio in the last year alone, including Lord’s Cricket Ground, Switzerland Convention & Incentive Bureau, Finnish event tech company Catchbox, event networking app Grip and London-based venue Victory Services Club.

New recruits have also joined the agency with the recent appointment of Account Director Eveleen Hatch, a PR professional and former journalist with over 30 years’ experience, and a new Digital Marketing Coordinator, Henry Earle A’Hern, to strengthen the firm’s digital team.

Commenting on the re-brand, Mexia Managing Director bsaid: “I can’t quite believe it has been ten years since I first opened up a laptop in the spare bedroom and started Mexia. I wanted to create an agency with a culture that focused on nurturing our team and feeding creativity, supported by a professional approach and commitment to journalistic standards. I’m very proud of the team for taking us on the journey so far and grateful to our amazing clients who continue to support us. We’re now looking forward to the next ten years!”

Established in January 2006, Mexia Communications represents a range of venue, destination, event technology and event supplier clients including Twickenham Experience, The Royal College of Physicians, Sadler’s Wells, Slido, Poken, Central Hall Westminster and RIBA Venues. The agency has secured ten awards and accolades since being established, including the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide awards for the Anglia, Thames and Chiltern Region, winning two successive gold awards in the Corporate Communications category in 2014 and 2015. Most recently in 2016, Mexia’s Events World Blog was awarded Highly Commended in the UK National Blog Awards, Events category, for the second successive year.
