More than 35,000 Food & Beverage professionals are joining the Anfas Food Product Fair

Total food amount consumed within a period of one year at more than 1,200 touristic facilities located in Turkey is exceeding 1 million ton, while the amount of beverage is exceeding 600 thousand ton.

ANTALYA, TURKEY – The 22nd Anfas Food Product International Specialization Fair, which is the largest international food fair in Turkey, and where Turkish food companies and more than 400 international companies participating from 12 countries exhibit their products and services, and the “Anfas Bevex” International Beverage Specialization Fairs, which will be organized concurrently, are going to be opened to visit on February 25- 28, 2015 at Antalya Expo Center.

Deloitte reports states that Turkey is ranked as the 5th at the 3rd Quarter 2010 CEE business environment, performed by the Business Monitor International (BMI) regarding the catering industry, thanks to its large population, its low level within the market regarding saturation and maturity, its favorable long-term economic structure and its satisfactory national income per capita

Total food amount consumed within a period of one year at more than 1,200 touristic facilities located in Turkey is exceeding 1 million ton, while the amount of beverage is exceeding 600 thousand ton.

It has been found as a consequence of research carried out regarding the touristic hotels located in Turkey that the amount of food consumed within a period of one year at 1200 touristic facilities has exceeded 1 million ton, while the amount of beverage has exceeded 600 thousand ton. Also, it has been determined that 58 thousand ton red meat and nearly 40 thousand ton white meat has been consumed within a period of one year at such facilities.

The Anfas Food Product Fair, provides efficient commercial connections for European participants.

Opportunity to Meet Catering Specialists at the International Events.

The “Barista Show” in relation to the coffee culture, preparation and presentation techniques, to which the baristas of the famous hotels and cafes will be invited, will be performed during the fair. More than 5000 international chefs, specialist connoisseurs and sommeliers are expected to participate in “International Taste Days”, which are organized every year together with the Cooks and Chefs Federation of Turkey.
