Musement launches new self-service Tour Management platform for operators

Travel destination managers and tour operators to benefit from a brand new sales and marketing channel including free app for streamlined customer access management.

LONDON – Musement, the multi-platform booking service for travel activities around the world, announced the launch of a new self-service platform for tour operators and destination management companies, enabling activity providers to easily promote and sell their travel experiences to a global audience online while allowing them to manage bookings and control access via a supporting app provided for free.

Musement’s Tour Management Platform allows operators to immediately increase revenues by reaching a wide and highly targeted audience of travel lovers in over 50 countries through both Musement itself and its third party distributors of on and offline partners and travel agencies. With a free multilingual translation service, dedicated account manager and SEM and SEO support from Musement’s dedicated online marketing team, operators have a powerful new platform on which to advertise their offerings.

The launch signals a key shift in the travel activities market which has previously been impeded by a lack of efficient aggregation technologies and precise curative strategies. Musement’s new self-service tool is set to quickly drive global growth for the company, in a market worth $100 Billion globally and $37 Billion in Europe alone. The additional free app for operators to manage bookings and customer access themselves makes the platform even more appealing, taking away the headache of managing the sales and admissions process and leaving the operators and destination managers to focus on what they do best

“We are delighted with our partnership with Musement. Apart from allowing us to expand our appeal internationally via a highly targeted customer base and affiliate network, their technology has allowed us to manage our entire booking process in an extremely easy and effective way. The access control app has been particularly useful for us as we can now manage visitors to our exclusive Italian islands with a dedicated app. Travellers who would otherwise never have discovered us are now enjoying our simply stunning and unique destination,” said Riccardo Russo, general manager of the Borromean Islands.

Alessandro Petazzi, Musement Co Founder and CEO, said, “We’re delighted to announce our new self service platform for travel activity operators. It will offer a huge boost to the travel experiences market, allowing tour operators, DMCs and local guides to add their products and services to the Musement platform, speeding up the promotion process and giving them access to a global database of experiential travel lovers” “

“Our free access control app will benefit venue managers hugely, with its easy to use QR code system that can be read by scanners or any android smartphones. This will remove the headache of access control for many venues who currently rely on online ticketing systems alone.”

Petazzi concluded, “The increasing number of consumers wanting to travel specifically for a certain activity is rising fast and travel is becoming an ever more emotional purchase decision. At Musement, our vision is to build a service that speaks directly with people’s desire to experience while travelling, suggesting the right activity at just the right time and enhancing the travel experience immensely.”

Launched in 2013, Musement carefully curates and showcases the world’s best experiences for travellers and enables advanced booking via a simple reservation process. The rapidly growing database is carefully curated by the Musement team to ensure the best experiences across a number of verticals are presented to a highly targeted clientele from 50 countries.
