The brand new Ultramarine Polar vessel will take its first maiden voyage in 2021, and is now available to book as part of a brand new luxury Greenland adventure from adventure travel specialists Wildfoot Travel.

The newly launched Greenland Adventure trip takes travellers on a one of a kind voyage where they’ll enjoy thrilling helicopter sightseeing flights over the majestic landscapes of southern Greenland, taking them deep into areas that are unreachable by other voyages. This new journey promises to offer passengers an unparalleled experience of the world’s largest island while experiencing some exploratory activities.

The stylish new Ultramarine Polar vessel redefines traditional polar expeditions with its two twin-engine helicopters which allows it to travel deeper into the Polar regions than any other ship.

Starting from Iceland, travellers will fly to Southern Greenland where they’ll board their state-of-the-art polar vessel and immerse themselves in the spectacular fjords, icy blue waters, lush valleys, winding coastlines and mountainous landscapes of the country. The intrepid voyage will offer travellers the chance to see Greenland in a way few ever get to do, flying over the incredible polar landscapes and hiking some of the lesser-known areas of the island.

Adventurers will have the opportunity to fly to glacial lakes high in the upper Alpine zones, hike across coastal glaciers and the Greenland Ice Sheet, cruise and kayak through the stark Arctic water on a Zodiac excursion, spend a night under the stars on a camping experience or mountain bike across the spectacular tundra on this unforgettable expedition.

The Ultramarine vessel features plenty of onboard comforts to make the passengers’ cruise as relaxing as possible including a number of outdoor wildlife viewing vantage points that rival other ships, cutting-edge technology and advanced safety systems. There’s also a mix of innovative sustainability features to ensure that the ship is doing its bit to be kinder to the planet along with the most spacious suites in its category.

Onboard, guests can enjoy two lavish dining areas, four bars for a laid-back evening drink, a spa and fitness centre, ocean-view sauna, a panorama lounge, walkaround deck, library and a lecture theatre putting the Ultramarine ahead of its game. There are seven categories of stylish cabins and suites to choose from ranging from solo panorama cabins to exclusive suites with private balconies and luxurious fittings offering a range of options for any traveller.

Wildfoot Travel are an adventure travel company dedicated to wildlife conservation and the protection of the environment, while also exploring some of the most remote and interesting locations around the world. They pride themselves on providing out of the ordinary travel experiences, making them the perfect people to help plan an incredible trip of a lifetime to the isolated, far-flung corners of the world.

The new Greenland Adventure trip gives travellers the opportunity to participate in the Ultramarine Polar vessel’s first voyage and takes them on an intrepid journey through some of the more undiscovered areas of the island.
