LONDON, UK – Expedia Partner Solutions (EPS), the B2B brand within Expedia Group, is bringing its competitive rates and availability for more than 500,000 accommodations to technology specialist dcs plus and its travel partners.

The new venture enabled through EPS’s newest hotel API, Rapid, will broaden and deepen dcs plus’s inventory offering, particularly in emerging markets in Europe, Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific and Latin America. With the implementation of EPS Rapid, dcs plus will be able to offer its partners access to 35 different accommodation types including hotels, resorts, treehouses and houseboats, across more than 25,000 global destinations. The API’s modular architecture also allows for versatility to meet partners’ varying needs.

Fritz Oberhummer, Director of Account Management Platforms, EPS, EMEA says: “dcs plus’s reliable solutions have allowed us to expand our reach and provide travel agents and travel management companies across the world with access to EPS’s extensive accommodation portfolio, through EPS Rapid. dcs plus combines its accommodation offering from EPS with travel products, such as flights and car hire, to build dynamic packaging solutions for travel agents.

“As travel experts, EPS organise workshops and conferences, with dcs plus participating, to contribute to our common knowledge and experience. Working with dcs plus we can reach new audiences and work together to ensure the solutions we provide are a perfect fit for each market.”

Andrei Savin, Alliances and Partners Senior Manager, dcs plus, says: “A key factor in our decision to work with EPS was the ability to further extend our existing partner base and give added value to the travel partners we share. We recognise the value of EPS’s cutting edge travel technology products and are excited to work with these to power our partners’ travel businesses.

“As a long-term partner of Expedia we are delighted to embark on this new agreement with EPS. As two global companies, we believe combining our knowledge of the worldwide travel market will be hugely beneficial to us both and will allow us to continue to meet the diverse needs of all types of travel operators.”
