New Italian routes launched from Pulkovo Airport

In 2016, Alitalia handled 32,000 passengers at Pulkovo airport.

Alitalia commenced scheduled service from St. Petersburg to Venice, Italy. Flights from Pulkovo airport to one of the most visited cities in Europe are operated every Saturday in June and every Wednesday starting from July, and will continue until October 7, 2017.

For the summer 2017 season, Alitalia has also started weekly flights from St. Petersburg to Catania, located at the foot of Mt. Etna volcano on the east coast of the island of Sicily. The service is performed every Sunday until October 1, 2017. The flights are carried out on A320. 

In 2016, Alitalia handled 32,000 passengers at Pulkovo airport. In addition to the launch of Catania and Venice routes, the carrier has increased the frequency of the Rome service from Pulkovo to 4 flights a week, in the S17 season.
