No1 Traveller announces rebrand and Gatwick Airport expansion programme

New name, new look, new facilities and new website revealed.

Multi award-winning airport lounge provider No1 Traveller is putting the glamour back into flying, with a rebrand of its lounges, expansion programme, and new website.

The 2014/15 CoolBrand has created a new visual identity and will be redesigning its lounge collection in the spirit of the Jet-set age. Centred on iconic island bars, with bistro dining and panoramic viewing, the company’s first ‘new-look’ lounges will open at Gatwick early next year.

To reflect its core lounge product offering, No1 has also launched no1lounges.com – a sister website to No1Traveller.com, which will continue to sell its full Driveway to Runway services from chauffeur-driven airport transfers and valet parking, to fast-track security, VIP Departure and partner lounges.

No1 is also expanding its footprint at Gatwick Airport with capacity across both terminals set to increase by 100% in the next twelve months. Renovations have already begun at its Gatwick North Terminal lounge to increase the size, upgrade its interiors and create greater seating choice for guests.

Upgrades will also take place at its Heathrow, Birmingham and Edinburgh locations over the next year, along with the introduction of a refined, seasonal food and beverage menu. A new uniform will also be rolled next month.

Phil Cameron, Founder & CEO of No1 Lounges said: “Six years ago we started to pioneer common-user lounging in the UK and we haven’t stood still since.  To ensure we remain the market leader we are making a big statement with our lounge brand refresh – inspired by the jet-set age of travel, a new-look website, and lounge upgrades. We want to show our guests just how serious we are about putting the glamour back into pre-flight.”

Guy Stephenson, Chief Commercial Officer at London Gatwick, said: “We are very pleased that No1 Traveller will be expanding their offering to passengers visiting Gatwick. We work tirelessly to bring our passengers the very best experience working with brands that enhance every step of the journey. Our passengers continue to show us how much they enjoy the No.1 Lounges already on offer with capacity for travellers set to double in the next two months.”
