Nor1 announces its Nor1 Merchandising Platform

Helping travel providers connect with hotel guests, and generate revenue, throughout the lifecycle of a trip.

SANTA CLARA, CALIF. – Nor1 announced the launch of its Nor1 Merchandising Platform, a pricing and analytics engine that helps travel providers generate revenue throughout the lifecycle of a hotel guest’s trip – beginning at booking and continuing through the stay on property and after departure.

The Merchandising Platform powers Nor1’s suite of products: eStandby, eFDU and eReach, each of which individually targets specific, relevant and timely offers to guests at different stages of their journey.

Bringing together these products into a single merchandising platform, the Platform helps hotels and other travel purveyors drive revenue:

  • At-Booking – via eStandby offers made on a travel company’s website
  • Pre-arrival – though upsell and upgrade offers made by eStandby, and ground transportation offers presented by eReach.
  • On-arrival – including front desk upgrade, upsells powered by eFDU, and eReach – which allows hotels to merchandise on-property amenities as well as third party in-destination services.
  • In-Destination – including tour and activity, retail and dining offers made by eReach.
  • Post-trip – Including loyalty and other guest engagement offers powered by eReach.

Nor1’s Merchandising Platform is currently in use by global travel brands including Hilton, Accor, HYATT, Intercontinental Hotel Group, Calrson Rezidor, Sabre’s TripCase, and Silver Airways.

Last week, Nor1’s eReach product was selected as a first runner-up for the People Choice Award at the 2014 PhoCusWright Travel Innovation Summit, and as a finalist at the Summit, by a panel of travel industry thought leaders.
