Registration of interest closes Friday 5 April 2015.

Rugby World Cup is the world’s third largest single sports event on the Calendar, held only once every four years Rugby World Cup 2015 will be played in England, the home of Rugby, in what promises to be the biggest and most exciting Tournament yet.

The Tournament will kick off on 18 September and be played across the country over six weeks with the final showdown on the hallowed grounds of Twickenham Rugby Stadium set for 31 October 2015.

An Official Travel Programme has been established to fulfil the match ticket and travel needs of Rugby supporters wishing to travel to this event from around the world. Rugby Travel & Hospitality has once again been exclusively appointed to manage the Programme for Rugby World Cup 2015, England

With hundreds of thousands of supports expected to travel to England’s shores for this festival of Rugby, RTH is now looking to appoint a network of Official Travel Agents from around the world to deliver the programme.

An Official Supporter Tour is simply a match ticket packaged with travel services and /or accommodation.

Official Travel Agents will have access to Rugby World Cup 2015 match tickets and will be required to develop and sell a range of match-ticket inclusive Supporter Tours to meet the needs of travelling fans. These could range from flights combined with match tickets, through to fully escorted tours designed to create a fantastic holiday built around the Rugby.

Official Travel Agents will benefit from use of the prestigious Rugby World Cup 2015 Official Marks, Intellectual Property and Imagery providing a powerful marketing message that gives customers confidence and provides a distinct competitive advantage.

Rugby World Cup will be the largest sporting event of 2015 and with over 400,000 fans expected to travel to England for the Tournament tickets will be in short supply. The only way travelling fans will be able to guarantee their match tickets will be through the Official Travel Programme, and the supporter tours.

RTH are now seeking ‘Expressions of Interest’ from travel agents and tour operators wishing to become an Official Travel Agent for Rugby World Cup 2015 until Friday 5 April 2013.

Following a formal application in April, successful applicants will be invited to participate in a competitive tender process in July with appointments being awarded in September.

Official Supporter Tour Packages will be available to market and sell from January 2014, ahead of the general ticket sales.

If you are interested to be appointed as an OTA please register your interest online now at www.rth2015.com.

Registration close Friday 5 April 2013.
