The leading luxury private rental brand hires COO to lead growth across the Americas market.

onefinestay, leading luxury hospitality brand offering the world’s finest homes and service, has announced the appointment of Michael Friedman as Chief Operating Officer – Americas.  

In the newly created role, Friedman’s responsibilities include oversight of supply and demand of all direct and indirect onefinestay accommodations across the U.S., Mexico, Caribbean, and Central America, as well as local operations including overall direction of both the guest and homeowner experience. Friedman will also work closely with the Strategy, Development & Finance and Brand & Marketing divisions of onefinestay to ensure stability and profitable growth across the Americas.

Friedman joins onefinestay with three decades of hospitality, vacation rental, and real estate experience focused on increasing revenue and drawing a substantial return on investment in the luxury market. Most recently, he was Vice President North America of SUPERHOG, a Stockbridge, UK-based guest screening and booking protection service in the vacation rental realm.  

Previous roles for Friedman included turns as Co-Founder and Board Member of Vacation Rental University, a Destin, Florida-based online academy designed to educate, train, and support the industry; Director of Franchise Growth and Expansion for SkyRun Vacation Rentals based in Broomfield, Colorado, where among other duties he launched and led sales and marketing campaigns that ensured rapid sales increases.

Friedman joins onefinestay in the midst of several key launches for the brand in 2022, including the launch of Monthly Rentals in New York City this summer.
