Pacific World announces new appointments

Additional roles created to accommodate growing regional business demands.

Pacific World, leading global DMC and Event Management company, has announced several new appointments. The first are Santiago (Yago) Fernandez as Head of Sales for EMEA and Erica Hegarty as Head of Sales for LATAM.

The decision to create these two new positions is a direct response to the expanding business in each region and the increased demand for experienced and talented professionals to oversee the growing number of RFP’s that Pacific World is receiving.

Selina Chavry, Global Managing Director for Pacific World comments, “Yago and Erica have a great deal of experience in these regions. Yago has been coordinating the company sales for France, Benelux and Middles East market at Pacific World over the last 5 years and Erica has been in the industry for over 9 years with extensive experience in the corporate and agency fields.

“Each of them will focus on their regions, leading their teams towards effectively meeting the clients’ needs and ensuring that each and every one of them receive the level of service that has become synonymous with the Pacific World brand. They will also work very closely with our clients and the internal teams here at Pacific World to identify source market trends as well as developing new products and services according to specific client requirements,” Chavry concluded.

At the same time Nastassia Grassi has been appointed as Sales Manager for France, Germany, Belgium and Netherlands. Nastassia was previously part of Pacific World Shanghai office as Account Manager in charge of the French and German markets. She has been working in sales and operations departments within the tourism and hotel industry for 5 years.
