Paul Hayward of Bangkok Thailand, co-founder of investment and acquisitions giant Panthera Group, continues his company’s rapid expansion with the acquisition of Whisgars. The deal is another major milestone for Paul Hayward’s Panthera Group Thailand as they head towards a future IPO.
Paul Hayward, who is also the creative genius behind Thailand’s Sugar Clubs, the hottest Hip Hop spots in town, has exciting plans for Whisgars. Established in 2013, Whisgars was set up as an alternative to the seedier side of Bangkok’s nightlife. Classic, stylish and up market, Whisgars is a refuge for whisky and cigar aficionados of every stripe.
The Whisgars revamp includes a luxury VIP room, for those who wish to sip their 30-year-old Speyside Balvenie and smoke their Don Pepin Garcia Blue’s discreetly with like-minded connoisseurs. There’s talk of a Roman courtyard and a business suite. What better way to woo potential clients than over the finest of cigars and smoothest of single malt whiskeys?

Paul Hayward of Bangkok is a busy man, as well as Whisgars his company recently snapped up Sunbelt Asia, Thailand’s largest litigation, accounting and international business brokerage service. Panthera Group have also purchased popular Bangkok chain Birds Rotisserie, voted best restaurant by Thailand Tatler.
