Peak Travel Group unveils clever new website and blog

With the launch of the new site, Peak plans on rolling out several marketing initiatives that continue to push the envelope in making travel management easy and fun.
Peak Travel Group, one of the top 50 travel management companies in North America, has launched a new website for its brand that presents travelers with a candid view of the hassles of travel and its logistics, while offering a simple solution: travel should be easy.

The intuitive and responsive site showcases Peak’s travel related services and management strategies without confining itself to a stuffy corporate mold. Every page is thorough in detail, but sprinkled with a selfless humor that invites visitors to keep reading. Each member of the executive team is featured with a brief bio that provides a glimpse into their personalities; while the “Browse Agents” section provides a directory of vacation agents and the destination types they specialize in, emphasized by the variety of photos of adventurous agents riding elephants and white water rafting. From technology that makes your life easier, to an account manager who is prepared for the zombie apocalypse, Peak Travel Group offers a solution to any travel emergency.

Beyond the clever content and amusing photography, the website features: detailed descriptions of each of Peak’s branded services; contact information for nearly all customer-facing employees; FAQ’s for each department (corporate, group and vacation travel); an online travel profile form; several search options for those needing guidance in what kind of vacation to plan; and sly testimonials that merely hint at the identity of some of Peak’s high profile clients.

Peak’s Marketing and Communications Director, Jennefer Teegen describes the intent behind the rebrand: “The goal of the rebrand was twofold: we wanted to really show the true personality of Peak Travel—we are a fun group of travelers who are as passionate about travel as we are about planning it; and we wanted to appeal to every one of our customers from the business traveler and travel manager, to the adventure seeker planning their next vacation.”

The Peak website also features their debut blog—a nice resource for travelers covering everything from firsthand hotel reviews to local activity suggestions and mobile app recommendations.  A highlight of the blog is the posts geared towards business travelers penned by The Wandering Suit, an anonymous jetsetter with an Anthony Bourdain-esque insight into what to see and do in between business meetings abroad.
