Pegasus Connect+ Hotel Revenue Solution builds global sales momentum

Hotels from 30 countries have clamored for new distribution and booking package offered by Pegasus Solutions in recent months.

DALLAS – Less than six months after Pegasus Solutions unveiled Pegasus Connect+ as the singular offering hotels need to truly, and affordably, compete for global business, the solution has generated brisk global sales momentum for the company. Focusing simply on the essential distribution, reservations, booking and marketing hotels need, Pegasus Connect+ has recently been signed and renewed with hotels in 30 countries.

“Hotels deserve to be given the tools they need to successfully manage their business,” said David Millili, chief executive officer of Pegasus Solutions. “Pegasus Connect+ was developed to do just that – to offer hotel managers and asset owners exactly what they require to address their distribution and booking needs. The overwhelming global response to Pegasus Connect+ from our clients reaffirms that this need not only existed, but that we’ve also found a way to easily address it.”

Offered at three levels, Pegasus Connect+ firstly delivers affordable connectivity to the global distribution systems (GDS) through RVNG, Pegasus’ next generation central reservation system. With two additional packages, it also delivers connections to more than a thousand online channels. An online booking engine is included in these packages to drive direct bookings through the hotel site, and can extend to generate valuable mobile bookings. Pegasus Connect+ Gold and Premium also include PegasusView Market Performance business intelligence. One of the major draws for the recent global sales rush has also been the opportunity to enjoy Pegasus’ preferred partner status with American Express and Carlson Wagonlit, and leverage additional global sales support.

“We, as an industry, have tended to bombard hoteliers with increasingly technical messages to position our products,” added Millili. “These are men and women who are dealing with a laundry list of issues completely unrelated to reservations processing on a daily basis. It is our job to make the solution to their reservation and booking problems a simple answer. We’re delighted hotels in markets as diverse as Bulgaria, Jordan, Malaysia and Mexico have all seen Pegasus Connect+ as that simple answer.”
