WOODCLIFF LAKE, NJ – Perillo Tours now offers private escorted tours for groups starting at 12 people. In 2021, eight of Perillo Tours’ signature trips will be available on select departure dates for multigenerational and extended families, travel pods or groups of close friends to enjoy Italy’s handmade pasta, historic walking tours, and breathtaking coastal views from the comfort of their own private coach.
“Typically, our escorted tours hold up to 40 passengers,” said Steve Perillo, president and CEO of Perillo Tours. “Now we’re offering the opportunity for groups of friends and family take over an entire tour, with plenty of space and privacy, all while enjoying the perks of our classic Italy departures, with a dedicated driver, personal guide and unparalleled access to sites around Italy.”
All 2021 Perillo Tours departures offer a flexible booking policy allowing passengers cancel for any reason up to 60 days prior to departure and receive a full refund. Perillo added, “We acknowledge there is still plenty of uncertainty surrounding when travel to Italy will resume, but it is important that we provide our guests with options to confidently make future travel plans.”
Currently available for travel dates starting in spring 2021, private escorted tours require a minimum of 12 passengers to book the departure, with a maximum capacity of 20 guests per itinerary. Included in the private tour collection are eight of Perillo’s signature itineraries that have been in operation for 40 years featuring hand-selected, immersive experiences like olive oil and wine tasting in Tuscany, private boat rides around Capri, and parmigiano cheese sampling in Parma.
Available itineraries include:
- Italy North Classic – The most popular Italy tour in Perillo history, this 14-day trip includes a boat tour of Capri, a glassblowing excursion in Venice, and a drive around Lake Como. Available on select departure dates between March and October 2021.
- North Continental – This 12-day tour is the reverse of the Italy North Classic tour without meals included, allowing travelers to dine on their own with suggestions from a local guide. Available on select dates from March to October 2021.
- Rome & the Amalfi Coast Experience – Surrounded by lemon trees and vineyards, guests will sail to Positano and the Isle of Capri, meet a local composer, and go to a limoncello tasting on this nine-day trip. Available on select departure dates in April, June and – October 2021 with pricing.
- South & Sicily Tour – Travelers will experience Sicily, Rome, and Amalfi on a 12-day trip filled with cannoli, a visit to Mt. Etna, and sea cave exploration. Departures in 2021 include are April 23, May 7 and September 10.
- Vesuvius Tours – This compact and affordable ten-day tour includes excursions to the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel, a city tour of Sorrento, and olive oil tastings in Florence. Available on select departure dates between March and May 2021.
- Marco Polo Tour – Guests will experience Venice, Florence, and Rome in ten days through a visit to Michelangelo’s David, an olive oil and wine tasting in Tuscany, and more. Available on select departures from May to November 2021.
- Rome & Tuscany Tour In nine-days, guests will view all the major historic sights of Rome and Florence before venturing into the Tuscan countryside. Available select dates between June and October 2021.
- Wonders of Northern Italy – Guests will spend 11 days exploring the wonders of Northern Italy, including Lake Como, Parma, Venice, Cinque Terre, Portofino and more. Select departure dates between March and September 2021 are available.
