Pleasant Holidays and Journese enhance travel agent reward program with new premier tier

Now agents who earn 25,000 or more TRIP points in a year are automatically elevated to Premier Tier for the following year, allowing them to increase their redemption usage and earn more perks.

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA – Pleasant Holidays announced it has enhanced TRIP, its Travel Reward Incentive Program exclusively for travel professionals, by introducing a new level: Premier Tier. TRIP awards points redeemable for personal travel to all travel agents for every Pleasant Holidays and Journese booking. Now agents who earn 25,000 or more TRIP points in a year areautomatically elevated to Premier Tier for the following year, allowing them to increase their redemption usage and earn more perks.

“Pleasant Holidays and Journese greatly value our travel agent partners,” said Jack E. Richards, President and CEO. “That’s why we are delighted to introduce TRIP Premier Tier. It’s specifically designed to reward our most loyal agents for their sales volume, confidence and trust.”

Agents automatically earn TRIP points with every Pleasant Holidays and Journese booking for all destinations, including cruise vacations, Groups and FIT. Agents earn one point for every $10 in commissionable sales starting with their first booking. Points are automatically tracked in an online account, which agents can view at any time. With the standard TRIP level, agents may begin redeeming their points for personal travel once they have earned 2,500 points, which is approximately four bookings, and they have up to two years to redeem their points. Agent bookings made with both brands accrue into one TRIP account for that agent, making Premier Tier status-$250,000 in qualified bookings-attainable within a single year.

Benefits of TRIP Premier Tier include the ability to redeem points at any value with no minimum required, use of points for air-only bookings for international published airfare, and the ability to apply points toward agent FAM trips. Premier Tier agents may also choose to convert their TRIP points to elevate their client’s booking with upgrades for hotel accommodations and land transportation. In addition, when agents maintain TRIP Premier Tier status for two consecutive years, their points roll over for a third year of eligible use.
