Pleasant Holidays announces addition of Europe Ocean cruises aboard Allure of the Seas

Featuring seven-night cruises that sail roundtrip from either Barcelona or Rome from May to October of 2015, itineraries visit some of Europe’s most popular regions and iconic sights.

WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA – Pleasant Holidays announced the addition of Royal Caribbean International ocean cruises to its Europe portfolio with Western Mediterranean itineraries aboard the Allure of the Seas. Featuring seven-night cruises that sail roundtrip from either Barcelona or Rome from May to October of 2015, itineraries visit some of Europe’s most popular regions and iconic sights. Two one-way voyages are also available: a five-night cruise departing Barcelona for Rome on May 19, 2015 and a three-night cruise departing Rome for Barcelona on October 22, 2015.

“We are thrilled to partner with Royal Caribbean Cruises, one of the premier cruise companies in the world. Cruise vacations offer the best of both worlds. They allow travelers to explore several destinations while enjoying all the world-class amenities of a luxury liner and the convenience of only needing to unpack once,” said Jack E. Richards, President and CEO. “The current strength of the U.S. dollar compared to the euro and lower airfares to Europe make these cruises an even greater value for American travelers in 2015.”

Both seven-night cruises feature the same ports of call, which include Barcelona and Mallorca, Spain; Marseille, France; and Italy’s La Spezia, which is a gateway to Tuscany’s great cities of Florence and Pisa, and Civitavecchia outside of Rome and Naples. Agents can book everything their clients need – transatlantic flights, cruise accommodations, transfers, pre- or post-cruise extensions, excursions and more – in one convenient transaction that earns agents 18 percent commission on the cruise portion of the booking. Pleasant Holidays can book pre- or post-cruise extensions in Barcelona and Rome or additional cities throughout Europe including Greece, Madrid and Costa del Sol, Spain.

Royal Caribbean International’s Allure of the Seas is a destination in itself, offering a wide selection of features to delight travelers of all ages and interests, making these cruise vacations ideal for multi-generational family travel and romantic couple’s escapes alike. Features include 2,700 staterooms ranging from economical cabins to luxurious suites, a full-service spa, four pools (one adults-only), Casino Royale, lounges, nightclubs that never have a cover charge, Central Park outdoor garden, ice-skating rink, kids’ waterpark, two rock climbing walls, zipline, two FlowRider surf simulators and the first Starbucks at sea. Travelers can choose from 14 included dining options ranging from casual to gourmet, or upgrade to one of three specialty dining options for an enhanced culinary experience, including a five-course dinner and wine pairing at the Chef’s Table. Complimentary entertainment options include the Broadway hit musical “Chicago,” thrilling AquaTheater acrobatic shows, ice shows, DreamWorks character encounters and more. Western Mediterranean cruise itineraries also include one day at sea to take full advantage of the ship’s many features.
