WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA – Pleasant Holidays announced the appointment of Steven Perry as Sales Training Specialist. In this newly created role, Perry will be solely dedicated to managing all internal and external training for Pleasant Holidays and its luxury travel brand, Journese. Chief responsibilities include developing and conducting internal trainings for Business Development Managers (BDMs) as well as managing the TRACK and ELITE travel agent training programs, and overseeing in-field training including Educational Study trips for both brands. Perry will also work closely with Pleasant Holidays’ Marketing, Product and Sales teams to procure partner information and coordinate trainings with business objectives including new product launches.
Perry brings eight years of travel industry experience to the position, including more than three years as a Destination Specialist Lead for Journese. Additionally Perry has extensive experience in coaching, training and mentoring, both professionally in the travel industry and personally for USA Swim where he currently serves as a head coach for a local youth team.
Pleasant Holidays is a member of the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA) and an active member of the United States Tour Operator Association (USTOA) and participates in the $1 Million Travelers Assistance Program.
Vicky is the co-founder of TravelDailyNews Media Network where she is the Editor-in Chief. She is also responsible for the daily operation and the financial policy. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Business Administration from the Technical University of Athens and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Wales.
She has many years of both academic and industrial experience within the travel industry. She has written/edited numerous articles in various tourism magazines.
