Promising start to the year for Rentalcars Connect

Rentalcars Connect, which boasts a client base spanning global airlines, airports and travel companies, provides bespoke online platforms that create a seamlessly integrated booking experience for car rental, taxis, and airport transfers.

Manchester-headquartered Rentalcars Connect, the ground transportation strand of Booking.com, has revealed business growth figures for the last 12 months that are set to propel its position as an industry leader in 2018.

As well as a surge in headcount of almost 40 per cent, the business has seen the number of partners it works with rise by nearly 30 per cent, with over 850 new clients taking advantage of the company’s innovative technology during the past year.

Rentalcars Connect, which boasts a client base spanning global airlines, airports and travel companies, provides bespoke online platforms that create a seamlessly integrated booking experience for car rental, taxis, and airport transfers.

Its growth follows heightened demand in new markets for its solutions, and comes as part of the company’s strategy to expand the business.

Fraser Ellacott, managing director at Rentalcars Connect said: “2017 was a milestone year for us, having taken on a number of major new partners, many of them global-facing airlines and travel companies. Our growth trajectory reflects sentiments across the industry about ancillaries, with more travel providers exploring exciting revenue streams for an all-encompassing booking experience.
