Purple Parking take over the largest Gatwick off-airport car park

The car park is owned by leading car park operator Q-Park who own 60 car parks across the UK.

On Monday 25th November, airport-parking specialist Purple Parking took over the operation of the 4,500 space car park at Gatwick Airport previously operated by Airparks. With over 18,000 car parking spaces in total this makes Purple Parking the largest off-airport car parking company in the UK.
 
The car park is owned by leading car park operator Q-Park who own 60 car parks across the UK. Q-Park predominantly operate car parks in major city Centre’s providing ideal parking for shops, restaurants and offices. Q-Park have chosen to work with Purple Parking due to their extensive knowledge in airport parking which they provide to over 1million customers every year.

In the short term the car park will continue to be branded as Airparks, before being rebranded to Purple Parking during early 2014.

Mark Hinge, Managing Director of Purple Parking said, “We look forward to operating the Gatwick site owned by Q-Park.
