The Lounge is available to Privilege Club members and frequent flyers from oneworld Alliance partners. The award-winning airline also revealed a new dedicated Premium Check-in area at Terminal 4.
LONDON, UK – Qatar Airways enhances its passenger experience at London Heathrow Terminal 4, and unveils a new Frequent Flyer Lounge, the first of its kind outside of its home, exclusively for Privilege Club members and oneworld alliance partners.
Situated in Terminal 4, located just a floor below the Premium Lounge, the Frequent Flyer lounge is open to Qatar Airways Privilege Club members, with access extending to Joint Business Partners like British Airways Executive Club members, and other oneworld Alliance loyalty members. The lounge boasts modern interiors overlooking the tarmac. Eligible customers can indulge in a menu comprising of a hot and cold buffet selection and a range of beverages.
Qatar Airways’ Premium Lounge in Terminal 4, the very first in the airline’s global network, has also recently reopened its doors to Qatar Airways First and Business Class passengers. The premium lounge boasts of elegant seating areas, tarmac views, a martini bar, a dedicated family area, prayer room and diverse dining options including a full buffet and an à la carte menu served to fine dining standards at the brasserie and casual dining at the Global Deli.
Further elevating the customer experience in London Heathrow, Qatar Airways has dedicated a new enclosed Premium Check-in Area exclusively for its First and Business Class customers. Within the check-in lobby area, customers are invited to lounge in a haven of tranquillity with refreshing beverages while check-in formalities are completed. With Boarding card and fast track invitation in hand, customers can arrive at our lounge with ample time to spare before boarding their flight.

Responding to growing demand for international travel, the national carrier of the State of Qatar continues to expand its network, with flights to more than 150 destinations worldwide, connecting through its Doha hub, Hamad International Airport, voted by Skytrax as the ‘World’s Best Airport’ for a second consecutive year.
Qatar Airways’ service provides UK passengers with greater access to travel to a wide range of destinations on the airline’s global network, including Australia, Thailand, India, the Maldives and the Philippines.
Qatar Airways currently operates from four UK airports, which includes five daily flights from London Heathrow increasing to six daily flights from London Gatwick, up to three daily flights from Manchester, and a daily service from Edinburgh. In addition to the UK frequencies, the airline operates to Dublin with 11 weekly flights.
Qatar Airways Reintroduces the A380 to Perth, Australia
Also, starting 6 December 2022, Qatar Airways will be increasing passenger capacity on its flights to and from Perth. Previously operated by the Boeing B777-300ER, passengers will now have a chance to journey on board the A380, featuring a three-class configuration of seating over two decks with a dedicated onboard premium lounge. The aircraft will accommodate an additional 163 passengers daily adding up to 517 seats spread across the three cabins: eight First Class seats, 48 Business Class seats and 461 Economy Class seats.
This update is part of the recent strategic partnership between Qatar Airways and Virgin Australia. This expanded codeshare significantly expands the networks, lounges and loyalty programs of both airlines, bringing substantial benefits and new destinations to travellers. Launched in September 2022, the partnership opens seamless travel to over 150 destinations across the extensive Qatar Airways and Virgin Australia networks, creating a new gateway of seamless travel between Australia, the Middle East, Europe and Africa, including popular destinations such as London, Paris, Rome and Athens.
Perth is one of Australia’s most cultural cities, with its origins woven into many of its landmarks. The increased capacity extends Qatar Airways’ commitment to the Australian community by providing greater opportunities for connections to many destinations in its global network.

Throughout the pandemic, Qatar Airways has maintained its Australian services and carried over 330,000 passengers in and out of Australia between March 2020 to December 2021 via both commercial flights and special chartered services. Doha has become a major hub for Australian passengers travelling to the Middle East and Europe, with cities such as London, Manchester, Dublin and Paris proving extremely popular, connecting through Hamad International Airport, the World’s Best Airport for the second year in a row awarded by Skytrax World Airport Awards 2022.
