RAI Amsterdam wins Best International Venue award

RAI Amsterdam was shortlisted in the ‘Best International Venue’ category.

RAI Amsterdam won the Best International Venue award at the twelfth annual Exhibition News Awards on Friday 22 March in London. The Excellence Awards are conferred annually on businesses which make outstanding contributions to the exhibition industry and are acknowledged as the key event on the exhibition industry calendar. The award was collected by the business development team of RAI Amsterdam.

RAI Amsterdam was shortlisted in the ‘Best International Venue’ category, where it faced stiff competition from other nominees, including Stockholmsmässan International Congress & Exhibition Centre, Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre, Singapore EXPO and MAX Atria and Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

The submission for the award included the collaboration with money 20/20, the launch of Amsterdam Drone Week, The Customer Journey Exhibitors in which we put the challenges of our customers on the first place, and the rebuilding of the Park Foyer into a multifunctional location with extra square meters of exhibition space.

“This prestigious prize is a recognition that our efforts are noticed and paying off. We are proud to have won this award” says Maurits van der Sluis, COO at RAI Amsterdam. "Our goal is to help (international) exhibition organisers make their event the biggest success possible and a meaningful experience for exhibitors and visitors. We are proud that we can contribute to their success and to give both participants and visitors a great experience. RAI Amsterdam wants to be a location that people would like to return to."
