Rezdy partners with SanSee to provide COVID-19 safe certification for tourism operators

SanSee provides tourism operators a  12 month ‘shield’ certification. Operators will be provided a badge for use to display and demonstrate to potential guests that their business is safe to visit.

SYDNEY – Rezdy Pty Ltd, the world’s leading independent booking and distribution platform for tour and activity providers, is excited to announce a new partnership with SanSee, an emerging hygiene and sanitisation certification business for tourism operators.

SanSee provides tourism operators a  12 month ‘shield’ certification. Operators will be provided a badge for use to display and demonstrate to potential guests that their business is safe to visit.

To receive the certification, operators are interviewed by a trained expert who provides expert health advice. The solution is designed to optimise business operations to guide tourism operators ensure that their location is following best practice COVID-19 health and safety precautions.

SanSee also offers tourism operators a free guest health screening tool. The solution provides guests and teams peace of mind while on a tour, activity or experience. Further custom guest health screening tools are also available to cater to the specific requirements some tourism operators may have.

As travellers look to book experiences again, starting in their own backyard, they seek confidence from operators that demonstrate a commitment to COVID-19 health and safety measures. SanSee provides solutions to do just that.

Since commencing, SanSee has seen excellent results from tourism operators that have received the ‘shield’ certification. Stephen Oddo, CEO of mutual Rezdy and SanSee client Walks, is impressed with the solution, and said “Working with SanSee took the guesswork out of the health & safety diligence many tour operators are struggling to navigate as they reopen. They took this daunting process and walked our teams around the world through a simple but comprehensive assessment, allowing us to give our guests and partners an enhanced assurance of our commitment to clean and safe operations.”

Working with SanSee, Rezdy clients choosing to connect will be able to upload their shield for display through marketplace and their websites emails, social media, and in person at their ticket booth.

Speaking of the partnership SanSee’s President Jon Peahl said “Partnering with Rezdy furthers our mission of helping tours and attractions recover faster from the challenges of a global pandemic, and inspiring confidence in travelers around the world.” He went on to note that some operators have seen up to 20% increase in bookings since certification.

Rezdy’s CEO Chris Atkin said “Whilst there’s much an operator can’t control during these challenging times brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring that they’ve made a confident statement to potential customers that they’re delivering a hygienic experience is critical. SanSee enables that and adds to the ways that Rezdy can help with recovery of business whether operationally or commercially."
