Scenic Group extends popular travel advisor aAdvance pay commissions program through 2023

Commissions are issued 21 days after full payment is made on all river and ocean bookings.

HOLLYWOOD, FL – Scenic Group USA unveiled their Advance Pay Commission Program on July 1, 2022 and it has proven to be so popular that it will now be extended thru all of 2023. The benefit offers the company’s many travel advisor partners an opportunity to enjoy early receipt of their commissions. Registered advisors who book their clients on any Scenic river cruise, Scenic Eclipse ultra-luxury yacht cruise, and Emerald Cruises river or ocean yacht sailing with a departure at least six months out, will receive their commission within 21 days after the booking is paid in full.

“Doing right by our valued travel partners is what we strive to do at The Scenic Group,” offered Ann Chamberlin, VP Sales, Scenic Group USA. “That includes paying commissions as soon as possible, and through our Advance Pay Commission Program this means within 21 days of final payment being received for travel agencies enrolled in the program. It’s an easy win-win as guests receive additional savings and travel advisors get their commissions much earlier. There are no departure caveats and it’s applicable on both Scenic Luxury Cruises and Emerald Cruises river and ocean products.”

Participation in the Advance Commission Program couldn’t be easier. Agency owners, whether independent or host, must register with Scenic Group USA, after which they will receive an enrollment confirmation within five business days. Eligible bookings must be on sailings with departures at least six months out from booking date. Commissions are paid within 21 days of receiving full payment, which must be made at least six months before departure. This incentive also benefits clients, as they will be eligible for pay-in-full savings offered by both Scenic and Emerald Cruises. Travel advisors can reach out to their Scenic Group Regional Sales Directors with questions or for assistance.

Toni Lanotte-Day of Toni Tours offered first-hand experience, “I can't begin to tell you how great it has been to finally receive commission up front from a supplier as soon as my clients pay in full vs waiting until after they sail months or a year later. The immediate reward of receiving my hard-earned commission within three weeks of making and paying the booking has been a real shot in the arm and my bank account! And it has been an easy sell to my clients as well, especially when they realize the savings they get by participating in the early payment program. And I don't worry about commission recalls as I sell insurance to all my clients offering commission protection. Thank you Emerald Cruises and Scenic for appreciating what I do and having my back!"

Scenic Group, which includes Emerald Cruises, Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours, and Mayflower Cruises & Tours, has grown over its 36-year history to include award-winning, river and ocean cruises and handcrafted land journeys that take guests to many of the world’s most fascinating destinations covering all seven continents. Since 2008, Scenic has set the benchmark for truly all-inclusive, five-star river cruises in Europe and Southeast Asia. In 2019, Scenic introduced Scenic Eclipse, The World’s First Discovery Yacht™, a 228-guest ultra-luxury ship, and plans to deliver a second yacht of the same category, Scenic Eclipse II, in 2023. Emerald Cruises has nine branded Star-Ships offering river sailings across Europe and on the Mekong. In March 2022, Emerald Azzurra was the first oceangoing yacht to launch under the Emerald Cruises brand – a 100-guest luxury yacht that will sail the warm waters of the Mediterranean, Adriatic, and Red seas. In 2023 a second yacht, Emerald Sakara, will launch.
