Searcys’ Valdone MacDonald moves onto M By Montcalm

Val, who had previously held a marketing position at 30 Euston Square, will now take up the position of Sales & Marketing Manager for Searcys at M By Montcalm located in the heart of London’s Tech city.

Searcys has revealed Valdone MacDonald has left 30 Euston Square to take up a position at the M By Montcalm in Shoreditch, remaining within the Searcys Collection of Venues.

Val, who had previously held a marketing position at 30 Euston Square, will now take up the position of Sales & Marketing Manager for Searcys at M By Montcalm located in the heart of London’s Tech city. Val has now been with Searcys for more than 10 years having begun her career with the National Portrait Gallery in 2005 before moving onto both the Gherkin and 30 Pavilion Road.

“Val has achieved so much during her 3 years with 30 Euston Square, being part of the pre and opening team and she is one of our brightest prospects,” comments Johanna Byrane, Searcys’ Head of Sales. “This move not only provides Val with a new challenge but it will help to give M a fresh perspective on its marketing output. I have every confidence that this will prove to be a fruitful move for both employee and venue.”

M By Montcalm embraces technology throughout the venue with a strong focus on inspiring delegates in its various spaces. The venue is also home to the Urban Coterie Restaurant and Members Club and Tonic & Remedy – a restaurant and cocktail bar.

“The opportunity to work with a fantastic venue such as the M By Montcalm is something I could not pass up,” said Val. “Tech City is full of start-ups and digital giants, so it is integral for us to showcase the amazing event space we have on offer here as well as embracing the technology that we have at our disposal. My time with 30 Euston Square taught me so much but I’m now very excited about my new challenge.”
