SilverRail, the transformational technology business dedicated to supporting train companies in attracting, interacting and transacting with their customers, has announced a new partnership with Wanderu, enabling its customers to book trips to 340+ destinations throughout Canada with VIA Rail.
Wanderu is a ground travel meta-search website and mobile app that allows users to find and book the best deals on bus and train travel throughout North America. This partnership with SilverRail enables Wanderu to extend its service across Canada to now include rail bookings. From February 2016, Wanderu customers are able to book VIA Rail tickets by deep linking into Via Rail Canada’s website, made possible by integrating the SilverCore API. This means Wanderu customers can now enjoy travel across Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec and Saskatchewan.
VIA Rail train tickets are now available both online at wanderu.com and through Wanderu’s smartphone app for iOS and Android as part of their ongoing efforts to make travel booking more efficient and less stressful to their users.
