Simpleview and EventBooking expand partnership with VenueOps

Explore St. Louis Selects Simpleview CRM & VenueOps for Destination and Venue Management.

TUCSON, ARIZ. – Simpleview, the global destination marketing industry’s leading provider of CRM and CMS, has enhanced their partnership with EventBooking, a cloud-based venue software company, to provide a complete and fully integrated destination and venue management platform solution to Explore St. Louis.

Following a lengthy and thorough evaluation, the team at Explore St. Louis has selected VenueOps, the latest venue management software from EventBooking and Simpleview CRM, to manage their meeting and event sales, as well as their needs in venue management, email marketing, consumer marketing and more.

“Now, while we are experiencing a world-wide slowdown in conventions, meetings and events brought on by the pandemic, is the perfect time for a long overdue update to our systems management,” said Kitty Ratcliffe, President, Explore St. Louis. “We see this crisis as an opportunity in a way, as it has provided time to address operational inefficiencies related to aging software systems, which needed to be remedied to ensure the future continued success of St. Louis as a premier meetings and events destination.”

The organization was seeking a solution that paired flexibility with functionality, and after extensive research they identified both Simpleview and EventBooking as strategic partners who were best suited to help them achieve their CRM and venue operations goals.

“We’ve forged a great relationship with the EventBooking team over the last 3 years, and we are excited about the opportunity that this undertaking with Explore St. Louis will give us to enhance and strengthen that partnership and integration between our two systems,” said Greg Evans, Chief Revenue Officer at Simpleview. “Any destination management organization that is tasked with managing one or more venues, or is closely partnered with their center or venues, needs their software for both their CVB functions as well as venue operations and management to talk to each other. As such, through this innovative integrated solution, destinations and venues will be able to achieve a new level of operational effectiveness as we pioneer a better way forward for St. Louis and the industry.”

Steve Mackenzie, President of EventBooking, echoed Evan’s sentiments: “We’re super excited that Explore St. Louis has elected to replace their legacy system with the combined power of VenueOps and Simpleview. Both our companies are firm believers in the integrated ‘best-of-breed’ concept being the future for the industry, and Explore St Louis definitely sees the value in this approach too. As a company we are excited to work with the Simpleview team and the open architecture their CRM provides.”
