Site and CrowdCompass by Cvent Partner to develop mobile apps for site events

Last year, CrowdCompass was acquired by Cvent to deliver an integrated solution for corporate events.

Site has entered into a partnership with CrowdCompass by Cvent to create a multi-event mobile application for Site and Site International Foundation events in 2013. The first two featured events will be the Site Classic, 27-30 October in Newport Coast, California, USA, and the Site Global Conference, 7-10 December in Orlando, Florida, USA.

“With more than a billion tablets and smartphones in use across the globe, mobile apps have become an essential part of every event. They are no longer a future-leaning technology but a vital tool that Site delegates and sponsors need – and expect – to customize and enhance their event experience. We already appreciate a strong relationship with Cvent and are pleased to now be partnering with CrowdCompass,” shared Allison Summers, Site Managing Director.

Last year, CrowdCompass was acquired by Cvent to deliver an integrated solution for corporate events. The company has developed more than 2,000 custom apps for events of all sizes and industries, helping organizations make their conferences, incentive programs, meetings and trade shows much more successful through the power of mobile event apps.

“We are very excited to partner with Site to educate incentive industry professionals around the world about the enormous value mobile apps bring to motivational experiences,” said Eric Eden, Vice President of Marketing, Cvent. “We look forward to educating Site members about the impact mobile apps can have on their incentive trips, including encouraging team building, strengthening brand awareness and broadening the impact of company culture.”
