SITE returns to Slovenia in July 2023 for a summer Incentive Summit

Boutique by choice and intimate by design, SITE’s Incentive Summit series brings incentive travel professionals to highly motivational destinations for four days of networking, education and destination immersion.

CHICAGO – Having concluded its 2nd Incentive Summit Europe in Geneva / Montreux, the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) is announcing that the event will be staged in Slovenia in July 2023 before returning to its original spring dates in Andermatt, Switzerland, in 2024.

Boutique by choice and intimate by design, SITE’s Incentive Summit series brings incentive travel professionals to highly motivational destinations for four days of networking, education and destination immersion.

“Incentive Summit Europe is now an established fixture, along with Incentive Summit Americas in SITE’s annual calendar of events. Our focus with the Incentive Summit series is on quality – quality relationships, quality learning experiences and quality destination immersion. Following two springtime events in Switzerland, we’re hosting the event in Slovenia in summer 2023, building on the enduring memories and great friendships forged there during our Executive Summit back in 2017,” said SITE President Kevin Edmunds, CIS, CITP.

“We’re very pleased to host Incentive Summit Europe in Slovenia in July 2023,” said Tadeja Pivc Coudyser, Director of the Slovenian Convention Bureau. “To have experienced incentive travel professionals networking, building relationships together and experiencing first-hand what Slovenia has to offer is so important for our destination. We’re particularly looking forward to highlighting the great hotel and venue developments that have taken place since SITE was last here in 2017. The new 5 star properties in Ljubljana bring new levels of scale and luxury to our destination, cementing its suitability for discerning incentive qualifiers”.

During a 3 night / 4 day program in Slovenia, participants will enjoy a carefully selected programme in Ljubljana, the 2016 European Green Capital. Next to discovering beautiful Ljubljana, participants will also be charmed by the Alpine fairytale-esque Lake Bled. Slovenia is known for its sustainable approach and green practices, some of which we’ll present and incorporate in the programme.
