SKYdeals – the first inflight shopping experience

Further to a first test in 2017 on Paris-Punta Cana line from French Bee, SKYdeals will soon deployed on long and short-haul flights from major Asian and European airlines.

The French start-up SKYdeals developed a new e-commerce platform dedicated to passengers connected to the Internet via onboard Wi-Fi.

SKYdeals is the first Inflight “Shoppertainment” solution that entertains passengers throughout the flight by proposing them a large catalog of private sales of products and services with preferential rates. Each traveler will also have the opportunity to book a taxi, hotel, restaurant or excursion from their seat.

Thanks to this technology, SKYdeals can reach 700.000 passengers per day and use the lost time during the flight to entertain travelers in the air. Freely accessible during the flight, SKYdeals displays great deals of products and services, targeted according to the travelers’ profiles and their destination. Orders can be collected at the airport of arrival or shipped by postal mode.

SKYdeals will offer various services depending on the passenger’s destination (excursions, entertainment, hotels, airport transfers, etc.), as well as products (fashion, jewelry, decoration, culture …). All at preferential rates. Commercial events such as “flyover”, “group sales” and “happy hour” will be available to gamify the experience.

Now, SKYdeals enhances the passengers’ experience during the flight, providing a revolutionary shopping experience.
