Society for Incentive Travel Excellence Statement about tragedy in Las Vegas

Kevin Hinton, CEO Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) .

All of SITE’s events – the Certified Incentive Specialist course, SITE Young Leaders Conference and SITE Nite North America – are going ahead as planned.

The following statement was prepared by Kevin Hinton, CEO on behalf of the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) International Board of Directors and Foundation Trustees.

"Our thoughts are with Las Vegas, especially those families impacted directly and our SITE members in the community. As the city recovers from a tragic attack, we are holding our members and friends close and look forward to arriving in Las Vegas for IMEX America to offer hugs and words of support. IMEX Group is a valued and long-term strategic partner of SITE, and we are in close communications with the IMEX America team.

All of our events next week – the Certified Incentive Specialist course, SITE Young Leaders Conference and SITE Nite North America – are going ahead as planned. For each event we are working with the host venues on enhanced security to ensure that attendee safety is a top priority and we will continue to communicate with our members and registered attendees about security measures that will be in place.

On behalf of the SITE International Board of Directors, SITE Foundation Trustees and all members of our global incentive travel community, we look forward to seeing you next week in Las Vegas."
