REDWOOD CITY, CA – Sonata Software, a global IT services company with strong footprint in the travel industry, has acquired a strategic controlling stake in Rezopia, a leading cloud based travel ERP system provider. Rezopia offers a complete end-to-end reservation, contracts management, operations and distribution system enabling travel providers to scale revenues, reduce costs and better serve customers via the web, social networks, mobile devices and traditional call centers. The acquisition is aimed at enabling both companies leverage mutual strengths and opportunities in serving emerging IT solution needs in the global Travel industry.
In a separate transaction, Sonata Software has also acquired the businesses of XYKA Software Pvt. Ltd., which is the primary service provider to Rezopia’s platform.
