SSP expands presence at Bremen Airport

SSP Germany will launch dean&david this summer in Terminal 1.

SSP Germany, a leading operator of food and beverage outlets in travel locations, is adding to its offer at Bremen Airport with the opening of a new dean&david unit and updates for three of its existing outlets.

SSP Germany will launch dean&david this summer in Terminal 1.

‘Fresh to eat’ is the slogan of dean&david and, indeed, fresh ingredients play a key role on the menu – whether it is Asian curries, soups, ‘good life’ bowls, wraps or grilled sandwiches. The salads on offer can also be customised according to each customer’s individual preferences.

The site will feature an outdoor deck and a large windowfront creating a bright interior. The modern urban style will be designed to feature warm, natural colours and high-quality natural woods to complement the culinary offer.

dean&david has grown in popularity across Germany since its first opening twelve years ago in Munich. Thanks to its partnership with SSP, the chain now serves travellers at a number of German train stations and airports.

In addition to the opening of dean&david, SSP Germany will expand the seating area at its Beer Bar Roland site, and will relaunch its Time Out snack bar and Kamps Backstube bakehouse, both with a modernised look and feel.

Airport CEO Elmar Kleinert said: “With the new dean&david at Bremen Airport, we are taking another step in establishing a ‘market square’ for the airport to meet the diverse demands of international customers.”

Michael Glatz, Head of Business Development at SSP Germany said: “We already have a presence at the airport with three F&B units, and dean&david is the perfect complement. We run the brand successfully at other transport hubs, and we’re confident it will be very well received by passengers at Bremen Airport.”
