Strong line-up of regional and international Hosted Buyers for ibtm arabia

Corporates, associations and AMC’S join growing list of influential planners ready to place business inbound and outbound.

Influential Hosted Buyers attending ibtm arabia, formerly GIBTM, to be held at St Regis Saadiyat Island Resort in Abu Dhabi from 10-12 February 2015, will be representing leading corporations, associations and association management companies including: International Association of Dental Students – Jordan, United Nations Association of Germany, Association of Hesse – Germany, Pan Arab Continence Society – Egypt, The London Diplomatic Association – UK, SEMARK – Saudi Arabia, RIPE NCC – UAE, Access Worldwide Destination Management – UAE, Dynamic Motion LLC – UAE, Fursan Travel – Saudi Arabia, Bahraini Tourist and Travel Bureau – Bahrain, World Council of Young Doctors & Health Administrators – Russia, V Global Management – Malaysia, Onmoble Global Ltd – India, Medtronic International – Switzerland among others.

Commenting on his plans to attend ibtm Arabia, Asaad Hijazi, General Manager of Bespoke Discovery, Jordan, said; “ibtm arabia is a great opportunity to meet new destinations, new professional suppliers (DMCs) and hotels chains and meet with them face to face to understand their capacities to handle our future business.”

Jad Taktak, General Manager, Semark, Saudi Arabia, added further; “It is very important to stay up to date with the new venues for our exhibitions and events, thus putting new plans for our new projects.”

Working in partnership with ibtm arabia exhibitors, the innovative one-to-one business event is recruiting buyers who exhibitors have specifically requested according to their business objectives. In total, up to 200 Hosted Buyers will come from Middle East, Europe, Asia Pacific, North America, South America and Africa,  and are qualified under strict criteria including their purchasing authority, their annual Middle East and international MICE business organised, confirmation of their annual budget and future business to place at ibtm arabia. In addition each of these Hosted Buyers will not have attended GIBTM in 2014.

For the first time and unique to the region, ibtm arabia will allow both exhibitors and Hosted Buyers to select online who they would like to schedule a meeting with and their appointments will be mutually matched based on the preferences of both parties. Some 30 appointments will be provided to each exhibitor and Hosted Buyer on a one-to-one ratio over the duration of the event.

“We have designed ibtm arabia to be an essential business opportunity as well as an event created on a more personal level for networking, combining opportunities to do everything together from the outset. We will have a Discovery Day where exhibitors and Hosted Buyers can share time seeing and learning about Abu Dhabi, a Knowledge Forum and a welcome reception. All of this time can be valuable additional business opportunities,” said Lois Wilcox Exhibition Manager, ibtm arabia.

ibtm arabia provides ready-made, exclusively designed meeting pods for every exhibitor. The all-inclusive solution is a design that allows for the customisation of an exhibitor’s corporate branding, all done in advance of their arrival onsite. One price, no hassle and exhibitors arrive fresh for the commencement of the business schedule.
