Sunrise Airways launches ‘Book 10, fly free’ travel agent incentive program

Travel awards apply to new bookings of Sunrise Airways flights between Miami/Orlando and Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

PORT-AU-PRINCE, HAITI – Haiti-based Sunrise Airways has launched a new “Book 10, Fly Free” travel agent incentive program in support of its new nonstop service from Port-au-Prince, Haiti to Miami and Orlando. Under terms of the program, travel agents earn one (1) free round-trip ticket aboard Sunrise Airways to any Sunrise Airways destination each time they book 10 round-trip flights along the carrier’s new Miami and Orlando routes.

“We feel strongly that a spirited commitment to the travel agent community is essential to our successful expansion into the U.S. market,” said Philippe Bayard, President of Sunrise Airways. “Our new ‘Book 10, Fly Free’ program gives us a good start toward establishing a mutually beneficial partnership with our travel agent friends that we’ll seek to build upon with additional incentives, as well as dedicated and responsive U.S.-based sales support in the weeks and months to come.”

The Sunrise Airways “Book 10, Fly Free” program is open to accredited travel agents based throughout North America, Haiti, and the broader Caribbean region. Eligible bookings must be made between October 1, 2017 and December 31, 2017. Free round trip tickets will be awarded on a space available basis and must be redeemed within 12 months of the award issue date. Blackout dates apply to all major holiday periods. Taxes and service fee charges will be the responsibility of travel agent awardees. Additional restrictions may apply.

Sunrise Airways’ new nonstop service to/from Miami will operate 3x’s weekly beginning November 14, 2017. The carrier’s Orlando flights will launch October 18, 2017, operating 4x’s weekly. Notably, the new Orlando flights represent the first-ever nonstop flights connecting Haiti with Central Florida.

Sunrise Airways will deploy a new Boeing 737-800 along its new routes to/from Miami and Orlando. The new Sunrise Airways Boeing 737 will feature two classes of service – business and economy – with maximum seating for 168 passengers; 18 in business class, 150 in economy. The aircraft sports an eye-catching new livery, all-leather seating, and inflight video entertainment. Delivery is expected during the first week of October 2017.

The Sunrise Airways fleet also includes a 150-seat Airbus A320, which is currently deployed along Sunrise Airways routes from its hub in Port-au-Prince to three gateways in Cuba – Havana, Santiago de Cuba, and Camaguey.
