The best ski resorts for families in the US by Family Vacation Critic

Family Vacation Critic names the best resorts for families for the 2015-2016 season.

EWING, N.J. – Family Vacation Critic, TripAdvisor‘s family travel site, has released its annual list of the Best Ski Resorts for Families, this time naming the best resorts for the 2015-2016 ski season. Editors of the site chose the list based on a number of family-specific factors, including special programs for kids, lessons and slopes for all ages and skill levels, and money-saving packages and promotions.

“Choosing a ski destination for the family isn’t as simple as just heading for the nearest mountain – families need a resort that offers a safe environment for every age, while also offering enough to keep everyone entertained,” explained Lissa Poirot, editor-in-chief of Family Vacation Critic. “For families with skiers of different skill levels, the most important thing to look for is a resort that offers lessons, trails and programs to best meet the individual needs. Beyond that, convenience is key, and resorts that offer plenty to do beyond the slopes – whether it’s kids’ clubs, family activities or even an indoor pool – always stand out as being ideal for families.”
