The Region of Attica will welcome the audience of “Ferie For Alle 2019” at the MCH exhibition centre, featuring the unique advantages of Attica’s individual destinations, and focusing on the particular profile and preferences of Scandinavian travellers.

Continuing its coordinated actions for its tourism promotion, the Region of Attica now addresses the Scandinavian travel market, by participating in the International Tourism Exhibition “Ferie For Alle 2019” that will be held from 22 to 24 February 2019, in Herning, Denmark.

As co-exhibitor of the Greek National Tourism Organisation (GNTO), in Hall M, at Stand 9810, the Region of Attica will welcome the audience of “Ferie For Alle 2019” at the MCH exhibition centre, featuring the unique advantages of Attica’s individual destinations, and focusing on the particular profile and preferences of Scandinavian travellers.

With the new tourism campaign slogan “Attica. Greece in a Snapshot”, which vividly expresses the diversity of Attica’s landscapes and encompasses the unique character of Attica, as a rare collection of Greek images and authentic experiences, the executives of the Region of Attica Directorate of Tourism will showcase the major mature tourism products of the entire Attica region to the significant Scandinavian travel market. With its participation in the international tourism exhibition in Denmark, the Region of Attica aims at reinforcing tourist flows from Scandinavian countries to the region, which travellers from the North of Europe already seem to show a strong preference to.

Audience of the “Ferie For Alle” exhibition is mainly composed of senior travellers and families, who prefer to travel independently and seek to experience the genuine and authentic character of the place they visit. Promotion of the Region of Attica at the exhibition in Denmark will highlight its cultural, gastronomic and sea tourism, which Danish travellers seem to be particularly interested in. At the same time, the Region of Attica will showcase the special forms of tourism visitors can enjoy in its mainland and islands, such as cycling and mountain biking, hiking and trekking, camping, sports activities etc.
