Adelaide, Australia

Adelaide, Australia is the least stressful city in the world, with Vancouver, Canada 2nd and Honolulu, Hawaii 3rd.

Though international travel is still in the early stages of recovery, the team at Love2Laundry have identified the least stressful cities in the world for post-pandemic travel aspirations.

The study found that Adelaide, Australia is the least stressful city in the world, with Vancouver, Canada 2nd and Honolulu, Hawaii 3rd.

  1. Adelaide, Australia
  2. Vancouver, Canada
  3. Honolulu, Hawaii
  4. Chiang Mai, Thailand
  5. Tokyo, Japan
  6. Taipei, Taiwan
  7. Madrid, Spain
  8. Singapore
  9. Sydney, Australia
  10. Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

The cities were rated on factors including friendliness, number of green spaces, population density, sunlight hours and pollution levels.

After the trials of 2020 and with the glimmer of hope that international travel may return by the end of the year, we thought it would be a good opportunity to share our findings on the most stress-free cities to escape to.

Nadeem Abbas, owner of Love2Laundry, comments; “Escapism has been an essential lifeline for many over the last year and, with shoots of recovery emerging globally, tranquil travel will no doubt be in high demand to unwind and enjoy the world around us.

Though city breaks are not usually perceived as stress-free, this study aims to identify the best places to find a balance of peace and activity.”
