According to Discover's Vice President EMEA Ian Murray, this new agreement allows travel agents in these territories to have local support when selling Thomas Cook Airlines UK in their markets.
SCOTTSDALE, ARIZ. – Thomas Cook Airlines, one of the largest leisure airlines operating in the UK, has appointed Discover the World for its sales and marketing in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Cyprus, Greece, Israel, Kenya, Poland, Serbia, Slovenia, Tanzania and Thailand.
“Discover the World already represents Condor, the German airline of the Thomas Cook Group Airlines in these markets,” said Thomas Cook’s General Manager International Sales Oliver Widmann. “It was through Condor’s efforts in extending their Discover the World agreement that allowed us to receive the same sales support in these markets. The new sales representation couldn’t have come at a better time with selling the new destinations and services provided by the introduction of 11 new A321 aircraft in our fleet.”
According to Discover’s Vice President EMEA Ian Murray, “This new agreement allows travel agents in these territories to have local support when selling Thomas Cook Airlines UK in their markets. Working with Thomas Cook Airlines, we will make sure to introduce these agents to the product and help train them on their service. Today, Thomas Cook serves both long and short haul destinations from 14 airports in the UK with new direct service from Gatwick and Cape Town being added in Nov. 2016. This May the airline will also expand its USA network by adding flights to Boston and Los Angeles from Manchester, to its already exciting New York (JFK), Miami, Orlando and Las Vegas routes.”
