As airline refresh and holiday marketing campaigns are launched, travel group invests in latest technology to increase bookings and broaden exposure via its affiliates.
LONDON, UK – Bright North, a leading ecommerce technology provider has signed a deal with Thomas Cook that will see its feed generation tool Convolo being used to power the travel company’s affiliate channel, run through Affilinet. Implementation will parallel an important time of growth for the Thomas Cook Group as its airline division launches a refreshed fleet of aircraft and it begins intense marketing for the holiday season with its Real Good Times campaign launch.
Newly launched Convolo is the most advanced product feed tool available on the market today; it is the first to offer unique feed error reporting alongside optimised product feeds helping to increase conversions. The feed technology, together with a new Affiliate Hub, goes live in February in time for the airlines refreshed fleet launch.
With the implementation of Convolo, Thomas Cook’s thousands of affiliates will get a significant amount of information at their fingertips via a bespoke hub hosted by Bright North that will be refreshed with all the latest information. As a business it will enable easier engagement with their partners while offering better tools, and fewer errors, leading to higher conversion rates. Through the multitude of reporting that Convolo offers, Thomas Cook and Affilinet will be able to track more efficiently where the best results are being made, as well as those partners who are driving the most revenue. This information will be crucial to achieving success, especially as it launches a refresh of its fleet in the coming months.
Helen Atkinson, Head of Online for Thomas Cook Airlines commented, “Bright North is an engaging organisation with a ‘can do’ attitude – we’re looking forward to the growth that Convolo will offer us, and working with a company committed to innovative technology.”
Scott Boocock, co-founder and CCO at Bright North commented, “This deal with Thomas Cook cements our commitment to making radical changes in the way ecommerce technology is built and implemented, especially for big organisations in the UK today who rely so heavily on their affiliates for revenue. Outdated technology in this industry is failing clients, we believe Convolo will revolutionise the way businesses manage and gain financial success from their affiliate networks.”
