TransferTravel.com: World’s first comprehensive peer to peer travel plan marketplace

No refund on unused travel plans? Here’s a new way to cut your losses.

Travellers who face losing money on non-refundable travel or accommodation bookings due to an unexpected change of plans can now recoup some (and sometimes all!) of their money thanks to a new travel marketplace. TransferTravel.com is the world’s first comprehensive peer to peer website for buying and selling all types of travel plans including tickets, accommodation bookings and vouchers. It’s an easy to use listings site which is becoming increasingly popular not just with sellers, but also with buyers eager to snap up a last minute trip at a bargain price. With TransferTravel.com users can buy and sell flight tickets, holiday bookings, hotel, camping, caravan, villa and apartment bookings, plus cruise holidays, train tickets and travel vouchers.

Simon Powell, CEO of TransferTravel.com, was inspired to set up the business by his own personal experience of booking an expensive holiday and then having to cancel the trip. TransferTravel.com has already built a solid and rapidly growing customer base."That’s not surprising when you consider that Forbes has estimated the annual value of unused hotel bookings alone is worth around £8billion! The peer to peer model, says Simon, offers consumers many advantages – and website provides a comprehensive marketplace where all types of travel plans can be bought and sold. “We have created a truly unique marketplace for unwanted travel plans by connecting consumers directly with one another, and by being dedicated solely to the travel sector. We have people coming to our site every day looking for their next holiday or booking – and that’s all they see. The seller’s items don’t get lost or mixed up with unrelated categories like they would on other generic classified listing sites.”

The company has offices in the UK and USA, and is soon to launch a mobile app.
