Travel Savvy connects to viewers on Roku

Travel Savvy TV offers free streaming content on millions of devices worldwide.

NEW YORK – Travel Savvy, the digital video network owned by 495 Communications, is pleased to announce the launch of the network’s exclusive channels on Roku, the popular streaming platform that delivers on-demand entertainment to the TV. The Travel Savvy network currently produces two original series: We Hear, dedicated to reporting “News, Notes, and Deals from the Travel Industry,” and the eponymous Travel Savvy TV, which brings destinations to life through interviews with in-the-know locals.

Craig Pavia, Executive Producer of Travel Savvy TV, says, “We’re excited that travelers worldwide can now watch our shows on any device in their home that is connected to a Roku device. Every week, the series will be updated with fresh streaming content so that our viewers can stay updated on their favorite destinations.” Past shows have featured personalities including London-based Iron Chef Judy Joo, Travel Channel star and hamburger expert George Motz, and Shark Tank alum and Cheek’d CEO Lori Cheek.

Both series are hosted by Travel Savvy Editor-in-Chief, Paula Keung, who has curated and edited content for the brand since 2010. Ms. Keung has also produced a library of digital travel magazines for the company, which have covered destinations including Dominican Republic, Ho Chi Minh City, Lombok, Kuching, Ventura County West, England, Key West, and beyond. These engaging digital magazines can be read at travelsavvy.tv.
